Ballyfodrin Leachate Treatment Plant Upgrade Award
Colloide have successfully been awarded as design and build contractor to deliver the upgrade of the Leachate Treatment Plant at Ballyfodrin Landfill Site on behalf of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
In order to enhance the current leachate treatment system already in place at Ballyfodrin, Colloide will design, supply, install and commission a tertiary leachate treatment system to further treat leachate prior to discharge.
The new tertiary treatment system will be capable of treating a minimum of 40m3 a day and maximum of 90 m3/ day of leachate deriving from the Leachate Treatment Plant. Discharge of leachate to the reed will be maintained at approximately 1 litre / second as per current standards.
