Celebrating Placement Success

UUBS Placement Awards 2025

Award Winning Video Submission

The Ulster University Business School Placement Awards 2025, took place at their Academy Restaurant on Wednesday 28th May 2025. The event celebrated the excellence, innovation, and achievements of placement students. A brilliant gathering where placement students and their managers enjoyed a delicious hot fork buffet lunch followed by the awards ceremony.

As part of the UUBS Placement Awards 2025, students were tasked with creating a short 4-minute video titled “A Day in the Life of My Placement”. This video aimed to showcase a typical working day, highlighting key responsibilities, tasks, and learnings from students participating in a placement year. Emma’s award-winning submission above captured her journey at Colloide. It provided an insightful glimpse into her daily experiences and accomplishments thus far, which lead her to taking home first prize on the day.
