Colloide’s management and onsite operations were subject to two days of detailed inspection by Achilles auditors in gaining continued registration to Verify Category B2.

Achilles UVDB Verify is a rigorous pre-qualification scheme for the UK utilities sector, which assesses organisations against high standards of quality management and competence in awarding registration as a UVDB supplier. The audit evaluated Colloide’s performance in Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, and Sustainability for both internal management and external site operations, awarding the company 100% in all eight components.

Achilles audits and assessments are a crucial part of validating the capability, competence and compliance of companies. The audit is the physical verification of a company’s validated supplier questionnaire, where qualified assessors review the documented policies and processes organisations maintain and check that these are operationally adhered to. The scope of the Achilles Audit programmes cover the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainability, health and safety, environment, carbon emissions, quality, business continuity and human resources.
