Colloide have been working closely with the Severn Trent Water standard product and design teams over the last number of months to develop a solution for septicity dosing at pumping stations or sites with restricted space.

See below, the first of Colloide’s new ‘Plug and Play’, skid-mounted, chemical dosing systems leaving our testing facility on its way to Severn Trent Water.

Working with the wider Severn Trent team a review of the clients specifications was conducted and through design meetings and NPD Hazop sessions a number of innovative solutions were incorporated into a revision to the client specifications.

Product highlights:

• Smaller footprint using Forbes innovative Innatank system
• Skid mounted ‘Plug and Play’ to reduce onsite installation time
• Full factory assembly and testing
• Reduction in process instrumentation using the flow and pressure monitoring capabilities of Grundfos SMART Digital intelligent dosing pumps
• Reduction in both capital investment and Whole Life Costs
