Who Are The Conservation Volunteers?

The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) is a charity dedicated to connecting people with nature by leading conservation projects across the UK. Their work focuses on protecting biodiversity, restoring green spaces, and promoting environmental education. By empowering volunteers to take action, TCV plays a crucial role in preserving our natural world for future generations.

Restoring Balance to a Vital Habitat

A few months ago, our team took action to clear invasive scrub from the Antrim Lough Shore, a crucial step in restoring biodiversity in the area. Invasive species can disrupt the natural balance of an ecosystem, threatening native plants and wildlife. By removing this overgrowth, we’ve helped create a healthier environment where native species can thrive, and biodiversity can flourish.
