A few dedicated members of our team recently took part in the Strabane Lifford half marathon, demonstrating incredible resilience, determination, and teamwork throughout the race.

The Cause

Our Colleague Brona chose a charity to support, and the wider team was delighted to get behind her fundraising efforts. Team Colloide raised over £200 on top of the £1,700 Brona had already raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the UK’s leading children’s hospitals, dedicated specifically to children and young people with complex and rare conditions. The hospital has more than 60 specialist clinical services and has an overall mission to provide world-class care, while advancing research and improving outcomes for patients and their families. We were more than happy to raise money for this incredible charity.

The Team

Coloide’s team of 7 completed the half marathon, showcasing not only their commitment and perseverance but also the teamwork that defines our culture. We were seriously impressed by our employees, who showed us their dedication exceeds the workplace. Outside of the runners among us, the wider team showed incredible, generosity, support and encouragement through donations to the cause, and overall positivity, proving once again that our culture thrives both inside and outside the office.
