Team Building Day Activities

On Friday 29th August 2025, the Colloide team came together for a team building day at Brook Hall Estate, Walled Gardens in Derry. It was a fantastic opportunity for our staff to come together, connect, and enjoy an afternoon packed with exciting activities, delicious food, and great company.

Staff enjoyed a range of activities organised by Hunter West Activities that suited everyone’s interests and staff had the opportunity to win prizes. Some activities included:

• Lazer Shooting: Team members engaged in an exciting laser shooting activity, testing their aim and strategy in a competitive environment.
• Football Darts Challenge: Staff engaged in a fun-filled football darts challenge that encouraged teamwork and friendly competition, creating a lot of laughs.
• Cocktail Making by Cocktail Man: Staff enjoyed a hands-on cocktail-making session led by the Cocktail Man, where they created and sampled a variety of cocktails together.

The day ended with a delicious fire-cooked dinner and dessert from the brilliant Lo & Slo Company. The tasty food was a great way to finish the day off. Following the team building event, many of the team headed into Derry City Centre. It was the perfect way to end the day, giving everyone more time to relax and chat.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special. Norm and Emily from Lo& Slo were incredible hosts, with a fantastic setup and food that was nothing short of outstanding, the beef, in particular, was unforgettable. Niall from Hunter West Activities did an amazing job organising all the games and streamlining the day so everything ran seamlessly. Dee’s cocktails were a real highlight, with many guests commenting that they were the “best cocktails they ever tasted“.
