Caroline Kelly

Accounts Manager

Hi! I am Caroline, Accounts Manager at Colloide. My role involves overseeing the daily operations of both accounts receivable and accounts payable. I collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Sales and Marketing, Project Management, and Stores. This is to ensure we are meeting client expectations and promptly resolving any issues that arise. A key part of my role is monitoring and analysing accounting data with a strong focus on detail. This enables me to produce accurate financial reports for use by the senior management team. I also manage day-to-day financial transactions such as invoicing and payments. Ensuring everything is completed accurately and on time to maintain smooth operations within our accounts. I work continuously to enhance my knowledge in accounting as evidenced through my recent qualification as an Accounting Technician.

Victoria Seffen

Accounts Officer

Hi! I am Victoria, Accounts Officer at Colloide. I have been part of the team for nine years, bringing with me a total of 18 years’ experience in accounting. Within the Finance department, I am responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and liaising with suppliers. I also provide administrative support to other departments, including procurement and stock management. I have completed ILM Level 5 qualification, which has helped me develop strong leadership and management skills that I apply in my daily work.

Mairead McCann

Accounts Payable Assistant

Hi! I am Mairead, I work as an Accounts Payable Assistant at Colloide, where I have been part of the team for the past 3 years. I have over 10 years of experience in this role. I play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes. My responsibilities include processing supplier invoices and payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and managing strong working relationships with our suppliers. My role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy. This is to support Colloide’s financial operations and ensure our suppliers are paid on time.

Rachel Monroe

Accounts Administrator

Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’ve recently started a new chapter at Colloide as an Accounts Administrator. While I bring 10 years of experience in accounts payable, insurer accounts, and credit control, I’m just getting started in my role here. Currently, I’m learning the ropes of Colloide’s processes by handling supplier invoices, responding to email queries, and assisting with year-end account reconciliations. I’m excited to grow with the team and contribute wherever I can.

 

What are the teams key responsibilities?

The Accounts Team play a pivotal role in the financial and operational health of the company. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks handled by us

Invoice Management: Ensuring that all incoming invoices from suppliers are processed efficiently. This responsibility includes checking and verifying details to prevent discrepancies. 

Payment Verification: Before releasing payments, the Accounts Team confirm that all transactions are accurate, helping to maintain financial integrity. 

Timely Payments to Suppliers: Ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner is crucial in maintaining good relationships and securing supply chain reliability. 

Financial Records: The Accounts Team maintain precise records, this is essential for audits and financial analysis, ensuring that all transactions are traceable and transparent. 

Issuing Invoices: Generating and dispatching invoices to customers promptly, ensuring that all charges are correct to prevent billing disputes. 

Debt Management: The team actively monitors debt to ensure that customer debt is kept at a minimum, which is vital for healthy cash flow. 

Maintaining strong customer relations: Handling any issues related to payment or invoices swiftly, ensuring customer satisfaction. 

Interdepartmental Collaboration: The Accounts Team serves as a central link between various internal departments such as procurement, stores, project management, and senior management, dealing with both customer and supplier queries. 

These responsibilities reflect the integral role that the Accounts Team have in maintaining the company’s financial stability and operational efficiency.
